What We Believe
In Recovery and Deliverance
We believe that God can bring us out of any overwhelming, destructive life pattern, habit or addiction through the Blood of Jesus Christ, His Holy Word, Prayer and Fellowship with others like us.
The 12-Steps
Overcomers SEK uses the same 12 steps found at AA/NA meetings.
We use the Life Recovery Bible NLT to find the scriptures upon which these steps were created.
Confidentiality
We believe in the Love of God as it is expressed in our meetings through the people that gather.
We insist that gossiping, name dropping or repeating what is heard in a meeting will be tolerated.
Every attempt to guard your privacy and your heart will be made by the leaders of Overcomers SEK.
- Our goal is to include music in each meeting = singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs...to uplift our hearts, praise our Lord, and lead us to a place where God can work on our souls. We are working on it - WORK IN PROGRESS!
